Dear East Side Sports Families:

East Side Sports is once again teaming up with One-on-One Basketball to offer our winter basketball league for children in grades K – 8. One-on-One Basketball has been providing basketball camps and clinics for many years in the greater Rhode Island area, and I am, once again, pleased to partner with them and to be able to provide a fun, recreational winter basketball program for kids in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8.

Due to facility availability, we will again hold the program on Saturdays only at the Providence Country Day School in East Providence. Each group will have an hour slot. During December, the entire hour will be used for practice clinics. After the December clinics, players and coaches will be assigned to teams. In January and February, teams will have a 20 minute practice followed immediately by a 40 minute game.

The winter league will essentially follow the same guidelines as we have in the past in terms of ages, developmental accommodations, and philosophy—all kids play the same amount of time and they are required to have fun! While this is an equal partnership, One-On-One will be the fiscal agent, so registration and payments will be made through One-On-One Basketball and their website.

Please get your registrations in ASAP, on line or mail in the attached registration form. I hope you are all healthy and looking forward to another fun season of basketball.
